Many people believe history is a record of objective facts, and what underpins that is the historical view that forms the core of the philosophy of history and social theory founded in the 19th century by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, namely “historical materialism” (also called “the materialist conception of history”), whose core proposition is that “the history of society is determined not by mind, ideas, religion, or culture, but by the material mode of production (the economic base).” That is, it asserts an inverted causal relationship in which it is not human consciousness that determines social being, but social being (relations of production, economic structure) that determines human consciousness. On the basis of this historical view, history is said to progress dialectically through “the development of the productive forces” and “the contradictions of the relations of production,” and concepts such as “supernatural forces,” “the intervention of gods and buddhas,” “spiritual entities,” “parallel worlds,” and “time alteration” are, in principle, excluded as incapable of being the driving force of history. The author’s parents were members of a low-level new religion called Happy Science, so I was a second-generation believer, and I had been contaminated since childhood, contaminated by fascistic scientism of authoritarian science, Marxist historical materialism, even while being in a religious position, with that kind of fascistic sensibility ruled by a teleological dialectic that tries to make science and the occult opposing concepts, like Professor emeritus Yoshihiko Otsuki of Waseda University (a major private university) versus Junichiro Nirasawa of Tama Publishing on Beat Takeshi’s year-end occult TV special, a clash between different brands of authoritarianism, an occult that is another authoritarianism opposing the authoritarianism of “science.” It’s truly shameful. I’m a failure as a conservative. When you handle the Mandela Effect, you come to understand well that genetic anthropology, linguistics, and history, too, end up thinking this universe is a fascistic Big Bang universe governed only by the law of entropic action and by laws of physical properties, (because there’s the proverb “Fukusui bon ni kaerazu” (spilt water does not return to the tray), and since long ago philosophers and refined types have likened the unchanging to a river of flowing water), and so the mystery deepens and cannot be elucidated. For example, maybe Yamataikoku (an ancient Japanese polity) is also in a Japan of parallel worlds, and because it surfaced through the incorporation or reorganization of history, its location cannot be fixed. Human intelligence, it seems, has an OS built in that, at first, speculates about things in terms of entropic laws of physical properties. Probably because the most important substance for human beings, which nurtures life, is “water,” and because humans live together with “water” on Earth, the water planet, our thinking perhaps becomes water-leaning, water-based. So we easily fall into the idea that the very first universe was a disorderly, chaotic Big Bang universe ruled by entropy and the laws of physical properties, that in that universe, after the evolution of immense spans of time, future humans with super-intelligence were born, and that, in a way encompassed within that initial disorderly, chaotic universe, they created a simulation universe (the Matrix) by computational processing inside computer machines—something like that. Is that really so? Most likely, this universe is not a disorderly, chaotic Big Bang universe governed only by entropic laws of physical properties. As for the kind of shallow, idiotic authoritarians who brandish authority as a matter of course at Mandela Effect–type talk and dish out insults and mockery at the occult, I am truly fed up. The trash among the authoritarians of the existing Marxist scientific paradigm, who, without self-awareness, brandish scientific authoritarianism and scientific fascism not as ideology or thought but with the feeling that it’s just common sense, I am truly sick of them. That said, a minority—well, a very small minority—of people who have read a bit of Thomas Kuhn and correctly understand paradigm shifts, those people are sensible, and to some extent we can communicate, but I feel they are at most about 5 percent of the science-and-engineering population. On the Occult board of 5channel (a Japanese textboard), until a little while ago, when you opened the top page, at the beginning there was a notice like, “This is the Occult board. People who want to pursue the occult academically and people who enjoy it as entertainment are each participating from different positions.
