The reading of Ibaraki Prefecture changed to Ibaraki-ken.
◯ There are various Mandela Effects related to the geography of Japan and its surroundings, such as the claim that there is no recollection of the Sata Misaki Peninsula jutting out on the west side of Shikoku, the claim that the small islands of the Seto Inland Sea have increased, the claim that Kyoto Prefecture was not supposed to have a coastline (Maizuru City belonged to Fukui Prefecture), the claim that Lake Biwa has expanded, the claim that Wakasa Bay in Fukui Prefecture has expanded, the claim that Sapporo did not lie this close to the coast but was farther inland, and the claim that the Kamchatka Peninsula and Karafuto (Sakhalin) have grown larger. It would become an extremely long piece, so this book omits many of these. I hesitated over whether to categorize this under terrain changes or under facilities/buildings, but there are also many airport-related Mandela Effects, such as Haneda Airport being in a different location. In addition, at the municipality level, traces have been found and pointed out of Hibiya Ward existing in Tokyo and of Hakata City existing in Fukuoka Prefecture.
This case is part of the Mandela Effect case database based on "The Window of Opportunity: A Guidepost to the Mandela Effect — The Ultra-Secret X-Files" by Aoyama Takuto.
