There is a well-known Mandela Effect that Masachika Ichimura was supposed to have been "Seiki", but the author once saw, long ago, on the early-morning entertainment news, the news quietly reporting that Masaki/Seiki Ichimura would change his name to Masachika Ichimura. There are a great many cases like this. Strange kinds of news (certain sorts of transitional-measure-type news, or non-prosecution-type news like plea bargains, etc.) are quite often broadcast quietly in the early-morning time slot. To chase down all such odd bits of news, you would need a hundred eyes and a day that lasts several hundred hours, which is an impossible ask.
This case is part of the Mandela Effect case database based on "The Window of Opportunity: A Guidepost to the Mandela Effect — The Ultra-Secret X-Files" by Aoyama Takuto.
