The author was surprised because Yosuke Eguchi was smoking in “Ruro-ken” (Rurouni Kenshin). Yosuke Eguchi should have had a policy of absolutely never smoking even for filming. Since when did he lift the ban? Or was it some special prop cigarette for filming? When I looked into it, it seems to have changed to the story that he had been a steadfast smoker the whole time, since way back.
