In the Jodie Foster–starring movie "Contact", in the climactic hearing scene near the end where a government committee official interrogates her, there used to be—at least there should have been—a back-and-forth at the height of the drama where the government official, with acting kind of like Cillian Murphy, responds to the protagonist Ellie's impassioned speech as if he in fact knows some higher level of classified information, turning into a snide, needling performer, as it were, and while wearing a suggestive, meaningful smile, he leans in and speaks to her—there was supposed to be such a scene, but it seems to have vanished. ○ There used to be a famous story that during the 1938 radio drama broadcast of "The War of the Worlds" (based on H. G. Wells), a panic broke out and many people died, but now, it is said that no panic occurred. Also, in Alex Collier's interviews and lectures, he says that the U.S. government made a contract with Grey-type aliens in 1933 and altered Earth's history over thousands of years. And there are times when it is said that the DNA of the aliens recovered in the Roswell incident was Japanese, and it is said that they made a secret pact with Japanese who visit from a different timeline.
